Since both kids are napping at the same time. They did yesterday, too--for 2.25 hours! Yeah! I am expecting Maddy up soon though.
Yesterday the kiddos and I went to a local park we hadn't been to. It was finally not horribly hot and before the rain hit today. It was a lot of fun. They had a lot of stuff Maddy hadn't tried before and she had a blast with it and getting out and about, too. Adrian had a fussy morning so getting him in the car and in the stroller for rides were good things and he slept pretty peacefully.
This morning I had a migraine hit me like a ton of bricks. I have no idea where that came from! I've had more sleep in the last couple of days than I have for a while. I've slept in the spare room and during the middle of the night feeding Matt and I switch spots. It's great to get some good sleep without Adrian's noises waking me up. I wish I weren't such a light sleeper! But yeah, poor Matt had to stay home for a few hours this morning while I laid in a dark room trying to get rid of the headache. Now it's at least manageable.
Speaking of, we've moved the sleep and play into the master bathroom which is attached to our bedroom but has french doors we can close! It's so nice to have Adrian's sleep noises be a little more muffled. It makes it a lot easier to sleep! But he's still close and woke wake up Maddy if he cries. Here's hoping he either A gets on a schedule soon or B sleeps through the night so he can go to his own room!
Today is rainy, but it matches my headache and it means I won't feel guilty about not going outside to play. So it's just a lazy day here. I'm glad for it. I see movie night in Maddy's future tonight if I continue with this headache (better, but still there. At least I don't see stars and hear buzzing now). Anything to keep her quiet and still for this evening. I'm sure I can handle this afternoon just fine. But with Matt having to work late, I'll need all the preoccupation I can get!
