It's getting pretty hard to bend over! Picking up stuff off the floor usually leaves me grunting now. Same thing with rolling over in bed.
A good friend of mine who I've been pregnant with this time had her baby on the 10th! She was 37 weeks but her blood pressure was a bit high so they planned it a bit early. Really confirms that Adrian will be here soon!
We have flurries this morning! Yes, I am still excited for snow. It will turn to rain later though. I'm not excited about cold, bone chilling rain!
I love the way Maddy strategically eats chocolate chip pancakes/waffles to get to the chocolate first. It's cute.
Amazon is annoying and cool all at the same time. I don't like the fact that now when I buy from Amazon I need to be careful who I'm buying from because I'm buying from their 'Market Place' and not directly from Amazon (aka no free shipping). But I do have to say that the return policy for the camera adapter we are sending back (didn't do what we think it did) is cool. Simply print the return address label and attach. Shipping is free! Plus, no post office line! I can stick it right in our mailbox for the mailman to take with him.
The cats are driving me bonkers. Joe wants to eat Ruthie's food and Ruthie wants to eat Joe's food. So when we separate them to feed them they both WAIT to eat until we bring up Joe to eat in the kitchen. We still don't let Joe share with Ruthie though since his food is expensive. Their feeding routine takes a good 1/2 hour now!! ANNOYING for CATS.
I can't find my nursing bras to save my life. Dunno where they are and I really don't want to have to buy more. But I may need to at least buy one. Where are they?
Our infant car seats passed inspection at the fire station. Matt is pretty proud of himself that he has mastered car seat installation! However, we need to buy booster seats for Maddy because she's reached the height limit for the convertible car seats in our car. Then another trip back to the fire station!
I made dinner last night and it was even something NEW, too! And yes, that is something to write home about. I have NOT been planning or making dinners lately. We've been eating stuff I've frozen or easy meals.
I have some reading to do over the next few days. I want to read our new digital camera user manual, read the essential C-section recovery guide and also Matt wants me to read Watchmen (his favorite comic book).
Speaking of our camera. It's pretty cool! Although, it still doesn't have the one thing I really wanted but it doesn't seem that most cameras have--a cord that charges the camera that plugs into the wall. Our Kodak came with a docking station which was nice, but not very portable. But I haven't been able to find a camera that you can just plug into the wall that charges the battery--at all. Not even one that fits our qualifications.
Today is Maddy's last ballet class. She's been having a hard time separating from me for class. I'm not sure if it's the baby or just a stage (she's been a bit whiny and clingy lately, too). Today Matt is taking her. Although it does kind of defeat the purpose because today is the day parents can go in with them to take pictures and video during their 'recital'. We'll see how she does. I still have her signed up for the next class but we'll see how that goes, too. I may cancel before it starts. It's the only thing she's signed up for though because it's a drop off class and will be easiest for me to go to with Adrian in tow. So I don't really want to cut off all her outlets--she will have playgroups though, so that will help.
Breakfast has been a fight around here. Maddy just has NOT been wanting to eat for me. I've tried earlier, later, etc... but nope. It's been frustrating. But lunch and dinner have been better (except for the whining, see above).
Ok, enough random thoughts. Off to read a book with the kiddo!
