Maddy and I played outside for the majority of the day today. We really had fun. I packed up a bag to take to the park and we played there for a long time. We played on the swing forever and then played with some other kids on the play equipment. Then we packed upa nd took a long walk in the wagon and she had snack. We got home and played chalk on the sidewalk and then my friend Karen stopped over to drop off a thank you note from her daughter. We stood around and chit chatted for a while.
Maddy and I took a short nap together today. She really seemed to enjoy that as did I. I was exhausted all morning so it was nice to get a bit of a break.
After we got up we went back out to play again but didn't last as long as this morning. After making dinner, Matt was home early so that was really nice! Even those extra 15 minutes make quite a difference.
Matt is still working on wiring in the rec room. He forgot to string ethernet cable to attach to our gaming systems behind the TV so we took down two of the crown molding strips tonight and pulled it through to our utility room. Tomorrow we'll mount the TV and speakers. We'll most likely be done with everything by tomorrow afternoon and it will look really nice.
