I keep leaving my keys outside the house. I've never had this problem before. About a week ago Matt brought in my keys as he went out for work in the morning. I left them sitting on top of my car ALL NIGHT and they have both our house and both car keys on them! I took out the trash and on the way in I forgot them.
Then tonight after I rocked Maddy for bedtime there was a knock at our front door and I opened it to find a man and his son handing me my keys. I had left them on the sidewalk while playing with Maddy! This was the second time I did this I told him and he told me that this was the second set of keys he has found while walking the dog. At least I know there are others out there like me.
Anyway, three strikes your out. I need to be more mindful and careful about this! After all, they are sitting outside my house..what if some wacko found them? Sure, he could steal both our cars but he could also walk into our house in the middle of the night.
What's worse is that I didn't know I even lost them--either time. ARGH.
