Today we went in for my 8 week appointment! The sonogram shows a healthy baby who's about an inch long and has a heart beat of 171 beats per minute. I've been quite queasy with this one and my skin is breaking out atrociously. But all is well, so that's what matters. I'm due April 5, but will have a repeat C-section so we'll have to see when we pick to give birth. Interesting that I get to pick the baby's birthday. I told Maddy today that she's going to be a big sister. She says she's excited and I think she gets it because she says, "like Annabelle and Nate?" who now have baby siblings.
Fortunately, it's just one. With the way I've been feeling I was wondering if it was twins!

Maybe one is hiding behind the other????? (Uncle Fred and I did that!) But one is plenty at a time. Congratulations you guys!!!!! Take care of yourselves. Love, Mom
