Maddy and I sure did keep busy today! We met Nate and Tina at the park and they played for quite a while. Then Maddy and I ran out to the grocery store to get some diet pepsi that was running a decent sale. By then it was time for lunch and nap. When she woke up we ran back out to the pet shop to get some food for Joe. But I decided against what they had and wound up getting some at the grocery store instead. Of course, Maddy 'helped' me buy some so she was throwing cat food cans in the cart for Joe. Ones he can't have! So I sorted through those before checking out. Then we went over to Burger King for dinner and she played in the play tunnels.
She loved it until she went down the slide and got quite a shock. But she decided to go again anyway. It's quite high up there and she loved it until she made it to the slide again. I had to coax her into coming down. She didn't want to get shocked again (which she did, loudly, poor kiddo). I had visions of having to climb up through the tubes to go get her. Sheesh. Fortunately she came down.
Ok, I'm off to do a few things before bed. But it will be an early bedtime tonight!
Tea of the day: I've had decaf coffee all day today since I bought new creamers and wanted to try them out.
