Teaholic not quite anonymous

So, Matt's parents were so kind to watch Maddy over the next few days. Matt and I left today before Maddy's nap to say a proper goodbye. I told her that mommy and daddy were leaving, but grandma and grandpa would stay with her and they would have a lot of fun. They would go to class, do art projects and have a very good time. It was hard to leave, truthfully. She cried, but it wasn't hysterical crying. We were able to move out all the luggage without her knowledge to the car and then let our goodbyes be short and sweet. Grandma and grandpa were so kind to call us just a few minutes later to let us know that she was fine and watching some TV without issue.

We headed out to Matt's work for a bit so he could close up on some stuff and then had lunch near there. Then we headed out and stopped at an outlet mall on the way to PA (still in PA actually) where we bought a little bit of stuff (gorgeous dress!). Then off we went to our hotel. We ate a great multi-course dinner/drink set in a leisurely manner. I can't tell you the last time I've done that! We had butter rum flan with pumpkin bread pudding with a brandy and it was just fabulous for dessert. It was so nice to linger over a meal!

Anyway, just checking in. I didn't blog yesterday so I suppose I should have today. So here I am!

Tea of the day: Mighty Leaf Orange Deluce black tea (I FORGOT TO PACK TEA! OOPS!)
