Well, we're starting to have a real guest bedroom again. You would have never thought so last week. It had a whole bunch of junk in it, a computer cart and no bed! The queen arrived today and after some rigamaroling I was able to get it situated. They do set up when they come, but after they left I decided I didn't like it the way it was. It took up too much room. It wasn't the width that was the problem, more the length of it! It was very close to the dresser where the double bed wasn't before so it was a bit tight walking through.
So I turned it on the side against another wall. I was pretty impressed with myself. A queen mattress isn't light and in a tight space it's not easy to manage either. I had to lift it on end and then spin it so it was horizontal instead of vertical. Easier said than done. There were times I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee my pants. Once I thought I was seriously stuck behind it and it took a minute or two to work my way out. Then once I was so made I growled at the thing while I threw it against the wall! LOL! It all got done though and now it's situated. It looks good where it is although it may be hard to make the bed but, oh well, at least I have room to walk around.
I also made a little coffee bar down there, too. I always kept a coffee pot in the bedroom to perk water at night for tea. Well, now I added hot chocolate, apple cider, coffee, coffee drink, splenda, powdered creamer and mugs. It's kind of cute and I think I will get some use out of that at night while Maddy's asleep.
The bedroom is FULL now though. There is NO MORE ROOM for anything else. It's cute, but full! I did finally wrap the last of Maddy's gifts. I had to wrap this one in a gift bag since I couldn't find a box that would work for it. But I'm done and it's all done. Good thing, Christmas is next week. Speaking of, what are we having for dinner? Hmm.. good question. Maybe I should start figuring that out!
No big plans for tomorrow. I think we may wind up going to Chuck-e-cheese for a while. But we'll see.
Tea of the day: A new Organic Oolong from a friend of mine! Waves to Joy! Loved it! I had three cups.
