Some random stuff

I slept with Maddy again last night. She went to bed fine on her own in her own room but after she woke up twice I felt better sleeping with her so I could monitor her fever. It had a lot of ups and downs yesterday. Sometimes it would spike up to 103.2 and since I cannot sneak into her room without her waking up to monitor her, I did not mind sleeping with her to keep an eye on her. We were up three different times about four hours apart, but that also allowed me to pump the fever reducer into her at those times. I didn't sleep overly bad though. She would try to lay on me and she likes to put her head between the pillows in the middle of the bed like Daddy does...but other than that, she slept pretty well, too.

If I ever say, "her and I did...blah, blah" again, kick me. You'd think I'd know better!

A big rave for Cherokee Ultimate Tees and Polos. Normally when I was Matt's undershirts they go into the dryer. Well, accidentally, I threw my white long sleeve vneck tshirt into the dryer. Now, it's not that I wear clothes that are painted on clothes but they aren't the baggiest things in the face of the planet either. So when I pulled this white all cotton long sleeve tshirt out of the dryer I expected it to be unwearable. Nope! It was just the way it was when I threw it in the washer. This was its first wash, too. Not bad for $9!

It was kind of nice to get on the scale at the doctors today and see that I'm 20 lbs lighter than last time I was there in March. Whoo whoo! At the same time, the nurse at the pediatricians told me to get Maddy undressed to the diaper to weigh her. We were just there on Tuesday and she did not need to get undressed for that one and I told her I would prefer not to and she basically commanded me to do it again. I did take off her pants but I left on her shirt--she didn't need to get chilled. I also asked why she needs to get weighed again when she was just weighed twice in the last two weeks at the office. She wasn't the nicest doing the strep test, either. Fortunately, the majority of the nurses minus one or two have decent bedside manners.

Ok, need to figure out dinner.
