You can see why Maddy loves her phone so much. Hers really does look exactly like mine. She loves to play with it and then finds mine to hand to me to play with. It's really cute and she has a blast with it.
Speaking of phones. Matt is having so much fun with our phones lately. He has a free program he used to convert some of our mp3 to clips of our favorite songs. Then using the blue ray on the phones we can just upload it to our phones. Fun! I'm trying to figure out if I want to specialize ring tones for any particular person, but honestly, I very seldomly use my phone. It's fun to hear it ring now though.
Maddy is feeling much better today than yesterday. She's still congested but overall seems to be on the upswing. I still give her meds before bed and naps but other than that, she really hasn't needed it a lot. I'm hoping for a full nights sleep pretty soon!
She had a lot of fun playing with her new toys today. She was much more into it today than yesterday since she is feeling better. She's fun to watch, too. We've read a lot of books lately and just a lot of the connections she makes is so cool. It's really neat to honestly see her developing before my eyes. I know, I know, all kids do it.. and we've all done it to get to where we are today, but it's fun to see her make these leaps in critical thinking skills.
When Maddy woke up today from her nap she told me, "knock, knock!" Then she started to knock on the floor. I asked her why she was knocking on the floor and she said, "Grandma, grandpa, wake up!!" LOL! She thought they were taking a nap in the spare room. I had to remind her that we waved goodbye to them in the morning. Then she saw a show on the beach and said, "Go beach! Go, go, go!" I told her it was too cold to put on our swimsuit at the beach and we'd have to wait for summer. Then she said, "Dadda, beach." I guess she thought if she asked daddy he'd have a different answer for her. She forgot about it by the time he got home.
Ok, well, I'm off to hang out with Matt. It will be another early bedtime tonight in case she's up. Crossing my fingers that she won't be! The kiddo needs her sleep.
