Busy morning!

Well, this morning Maddy and I ran out to get a few things done. But before I could do that I needed to make dinner plans from now through Christmas. Can I say, I get SO TIRED of planning dinner?!? *sigh*

Anyway, after the meals were planned and we were both dressed to go, Maddy and I got out of the house. She was thrilled of course, dancing around the living room yelling, "Go, go, go!" That girl is certainly not a homebody. Well, first we stopped at the ATM to deposit a couple checks. One was reimbursement for Matt's trip to PA and the other was a rebate check for our heating/cooling sytem. Because our new system is so energy efficient we qualified for some government rebate stuff. But I guess we were a little past the date of getting it, but the company said not to worry about it, they will make sure we get it. And they did! The company cut us a check!! It wasn't supposed to come from them, but I guess they felt like we should get it even if it doesn't come through for them. Again, this place has done great for us. They've come through on EVERYTHING they said they would do even when it wasn't as easy as they thought it would be. They were always on time and did great work.

But anyway, back to the ATM. I love what Bank of America has done for deposits. It reads the check and lets me know the amount that's on it and then I just ok it! No more envelopes or punching in numbers. It really can't be simpler. Plus, the receipt shows a print of the checks. Very convenient!

After the bank we went to Chuck-e-cheese for a while. I only brought 25 tokens along and a snack since I wasn't taking the diaper bag and I was just taking my purse. Maddy had a really GOOD time. There wasn't any whining when things didn't go right. She remembered where all her favorite stuff was and she did well leaving even though she didn't want to be done. A little developmental step I noticed is that her fine motor skills are really getting great. She was able to put the coin in the slot without much trouble. When she was 18 months or so it was harder for her and she'd need help. It was nice to see that chuck-e-cheese was fresh to her again and she enjoyed it. We won't be back for about another month now, at least.

We went grocery shopping after Chuck-e-cheese. It went fine except she did not want to go into the cart. Well, too bad, kiddo. I have groceries to get and you aren't walking. Normally she loves to eat a snack in the cart that I bring along but because we just ate part of the snack at Chuck-e-cheese she didn't want anything there. Anyway, it wasn't the most pleasant experience but it could have gone worse as well.

We came home, unloaded all the groceries. I had spicy sushi rolls for lunch and she had chicken tenders. I love treating myself to sushi rolls when I go to bloom. Their rolls are good. I like Wegman's better, but these are good.

Well, that's it here. I need to clean! We have company coming for dinner tomorrow evening and I'm going out for breakfast tomorrow morning with a friend. Looking forward to both!
