I can't believe how great the weather is today. It's just a perfect day in my opinion. It's not too hot, too breezy, too cool. Just right! I have all the windows open and Maddy's down for a nap. Our Pear Trees are blossoming and are just beautiful. Maddy and I went to the grocery store this morning to pick up a couple of things for the next few days (mainly creamer for mom). They are supposed to be street cleaning today but I don't think that's going to happen since no one is here yet. However, we parked on the street on the way home and I just grabbed the umbrella stroller from the trunk and hung the groceries off it. It was a nice walk home.
She is getting to the point where I need to bring a snack along for her at the grocery store if I plan on buying any snacks there for her. She readily recognizes her goldfish cracker bag now and says, "Cookie" and tries to hand it to me so I'll give her one. Obviously, I'm not going to open it in the store. But Maddy was good about it. She just held on to it and that was about it. She had a couple goldfish when we got home.
After unloading groceries, Maddy and I went back outside to play. Yesterday, I used a basket we had floating around to store some outdoor goods--balls, hats, sunblock, bubbles, etc... So it's easier to outside with her now. I just grab the basket and her and out the door we go. She had fun although all she wanted to do was push her umbrella stroller. I don't know what's up with that. Plus, she's not good at it yet and she's not steady on her feet with it. So I had to hold it down so she could push it. She had fun though! I'm sure this afternoon we'll walk back over to the park. It was pretty crowded there yesterday but she enjoyed it.
One of the tile guys are coming back tonight with his estimate. I"m afraid to even ASK how much that's going to be. EAK!
Ok, well, I promised myself that I'd only spend 1/2 hour outside before I went in to do a bit of cleaning. The weather is GORGEOUS though, so maybe I'll take a bit more time and read one of my magazines.
Tea of the day: 2 cups rose scented black tea
WO of the day: 30 minutes elliptical (with the windows open and a fan in the window!), pilates ab work and pushups.
