So Maddy went to church today for the first time in quite a while (minus a trip to a sister congregation a few weeks back with Matt where she didn't last through even 1/4 the service). And she did SOOOOO WELL. It's not that I was worried, but I assumed I'd spend a lot of time in the children's room since she really hasn't NEEDED to sit still that much. I don't put her in positions where I expect her to be quiet, really. We don't go out to dinner with her, for the most part. She lasted the entire church service but I did take her out after communion since I wanted to let her stretch her legs between church and our church meeting. I did teach Sunday School today but the kids were soooo chit chatty. Plus, we started late. But I did get my lesson taught, so that was good too.
We took Maddy to the park again today. She went to three parks yesterday (one once and the other twice). She LOVED it. She loves seeing other kids, walking around, making friends. Today she went down the slide on her own (enclosed). Matt was at the bottom and I was at the top. She LOVED it. It was so cute. As she gets bigger and bigger I have so many more fun things to do with her. It's a blast.
Well, tomorrow the drywall guys will be back. They need to finish mudding and taping, doing some drywall repair and then painting 5 rooms (powder room, new bathroom, new bedroom, closet, certain walls and ceiling of our existing bedrooms). I can't WAIT for this to be done. It will be an early morning so I can get my workout in. But, I want to and it's important to me.
Ok, well, I'm off. Matt and I are going outside to have a fire in the chimnea. Have a goodnight, all!
No workout and no tea! We were in a rush to get out the door this morning.
