Well, today was a rough day. Maddy was very fussy today. I thought she was sick for a bit, but she's drooling like crazy so I'm pretty sure she's getting her molars in. She only slept a 1/2 hour for her first nap and then 1 hour for her second. She woke up crying both times.
This wouldn't be that big of a deal if I hadn't taken a simply sleep last night at 8:30. I was in bed at 9. Matt told me Maddy woke up at 9:30 and 10 and I can honestly say I didn't hear a single thing. She woke up again at 2 and I saw she had itchy eyes and a watery nose. She had played with cat tail at the park yesterday so I assumed it was allergies and gave her benedryl. Well, then my allergies kicked in and I needed to take something too. So what do you take at 2 am? Night time? Day time? I took two sinus night time. Needless to say, with two night time meds in me when I woke up at 7 I was SOOOO tired. So, at 12 when I laid her down I laid down, too. Too bad she only slept a 1/2 hour. I was dead to the world when she woke up. Then she fussed on and off for an hour and a 1/2 before I finally gave her another nap. I tried to lay down with her again but I didn't sleep.
Matt came home a bit early tonight and it was really nice of him. He stopped at the grocery store for a lot of stuff that I asked him to pick up. After dinner he cleaned up and took care of Maddy while I got a shower. He even brought a martini up to me in the bathroom! He's a gem, I tell ya. Also, this morning, he made coffee for me (knowing I'd need it over tea) while I got dressed quick. I'm so lucky! He's up giving Maddy a bath now so I'm not going to stay very long.
Tonight I plan on going through my pictures (yes, they came today!) sorting them out, writing a little letter to send with the wallets and organizing them into photo albums and sorting them out for family.
This weekend Matt's parents are here and Matt and I have a list the length of our arm of things we need to get done around here. So hopefully I'll check back in on Sunday feeling like we accomplished a lot.
Tea of the day: Coffee
WO of the day: none, but Matt did move my elliptical machine for me into the spare room, so tomorrow I'll work out with my iPod! It's been too long!
