Maddy and I went to the park and to take a walk today before the tile guy was supposed to show up at noon. She was REALLY tired so I needed to get her out of the house so she could make it until noon. It was a mad rush for the door at 11 because I accidentally mentioned the word 'outside' before I was quite ready. So I change her shoes, put on her coat, put on her hat, grab my cell phone, grab my keys, grab my scissors (I cut some daffodils from our yard to bring in the house). I threw on my coat quick and out the door we went.
Well, we made it to the park just fine. There was no one there and Maddy didn't really want to play a whole lot. She was pretty fussy, but then, she was tired, so I knew this. I was also on the phone with my folks at the time so I don't think she liked that much either.
Ah well, off for our long-way-around walk back home to wait for the tile guy. It was a nice walk and Maddy rested a lot. I'd look at cars who were driving by me (about three) and they were all paying close attention to us. Well, Maddy is a cutie; how could they help it (I can say that, I'm mom. Don't hate her because she's beautiful)? Hmm... no, they aren't looking at Maddy. They are looking at me. Hm... I'm not quite as cocky about myself so I'm wondering what's interesting about me.
OH MY GOSH, I KNOW WHAT IT IS!!! This morning after my shower post workout I put on a couple dabs of Proactiv Acne Mask on a couple little spots on my face!!!! I FORGOT TO WASH IT OFF BEFORE WE LEFT IN MY HURRY! HAHAHAHAAHAAAAA... They are staring at the bright white blotches on my face. 
Ok, so now that I know what it is, I lick my finger and use the reflective surface of my cell phone as a mirror to wipe it off. I didn't notice the mask since it wasn't my whole face, just a couple of little spots. But I'm sure it was QUITE obvious. Ha! I just about died laughing.
Maddy was looking at me like I was nuts. I'm just glad we didn't meet up with anyone at the park. So what do you think? Do you think they would have mentioned it to me? Do you think they would have stared at it enough I would have finally figured it out? Or would I have been oblivious the entire time? Just too funny.
Ok, well, I'm off to do some more cleaning/straightening. I'm off to the family room that looks like a hurricane hit it. SHEESH.
