Well, today I painted the trim around the front door, french doors in the dining room and bay window. It's just crazy how long that took me considering how little seemed to get done. But, it needed to get done and it looks REALLY nice now. Now I'm really itching to get the drape rod and drapes for the bay window. Then we'll be all set and that will be finished.
Matt worked in the basement some today organizing and sorting. He threw out another lawn bag of trash. He also sorted his game CDs and threw out the plastic cases. Even more room now!
Matt changed out the headboard and frame last night. It makes a lot less noise than the old one did! That's great! We may change it around a bit though. I need to take the bed apart one more time to get the bedskirt back on it since I washed and dried it this morning.
Maddy did pretty good today for only having one of us around at a time. She did not take a morning nap (made noises on and off for about an hour) but slept really great during her afternoon nap. I'm wondering if she's trying to drop a nap?
We still haven't had dinner and it's almost 9:00. Matt ran out to pick something up. I was quite naughty and asked him to pick up some icecream and cones too. I saw a Upside Down show today that had that in it and well, it got me craving icecream which is something I NEVER crave. Maybe I can at least put off my craving for tomorrow!
Tomorrow is church, then a few trips out to Target, JC Penny and Lowes with a list. I'm hoping to get everything done by 3 so we can all just 'be together' that evening. Poor Maddy hasn't had both of us sitting down with her for quite a while.
