Beckham coming to America

It must be a slow news day today because, somehow, this is the headline for CNN.com right now. Is this news? Really?

Well, I went to Bunco night last night. It was really fun! I really enjoyed myself. Maddy was really clingy and whiney last night, so as much as I hated dropping Maddy on Matt I was glad to get out of the house some and be with friends. I was able to meet my husband's friend's kids. They are such cuties! Although, it really made me miss teaching kindergarten. I loved that age. As much as I don't want Maddy to grow up I can't wait until she's that age, too. I tied for the win last night so we split the pot.

My legs were so sore this morning from my Pilates DVD yesterday. I still did my 30 minutes of elliptical, but I took some Advil before hand. I was surprised that my arms didn't hurt, but I guess they are in better shape than I thought they were! Actually, they're looking pretty decent right now.

It's finally cold here! Yes, it's the middle of January and it's finally cold! I'm so glad. Hopefully we'll have snow soon! I can't wait.

Today I just plan on getting a few chores done around the house. Tomorrow I am going to playgroup at a friends and then coffee tomorrow night, too. I've missed getting together with all the other ladies that I normally hang out with. The holidays put that all on hold. I'm glad it's all falling back in line now.

OOh! Maddy's up! Gotta run!

Tea of the day: Adagio Roobios Earl Grey
WO of the day: 30 minutes elliptical, situps, pushups, stretching
