Why is it that right after I finish a magazine or two, a few more come in the mail? I can never keep up! For the price I pay for subscriptions though, it's ok. I buy them through an online discount site and man, the price is right!
Maddy's latest thing is rolling her D's. I can't do that, but Matt can. I mean, I'm impressed. I'm waiting for her to roll her R's.
So, she will eat her meat baby food ONLY if I load it down with pepper and a touch of salt. This kid has some taste buds! Well, if she likes it and doesn't make her tummy fussy, she'll get it! I'm going to try some Mrs. Dash today in her meat and see if she'll like that better. She has swung back to eating Cherrios over Fruit Puffs now. I'm glad since they are better for her. She still refuses to eat baby cereal and if I can sneak it into her yogurt or fruit she'll eat it that way.
The weather has turned cool here! It's sooo nice outside now. Yesterday when Matt and I got up the cars had frost on them. It was only 60 degrees in the house! I had to turn on the heat. It was one of those mornings that I didn't miss having to leave the houst at 6:15 am to go to work. It was nice to stay inside with a cup of hot tea playing with Maddy.
I plan on doing a bit of baking this weekend. I haven't figured out what yet. Maybe I'll make apple crisp or pumpkin spice bread. I want it to be something for fall. There is a city festival going on today. Maddy, Matt and I may go. It'll be fun if the weather is nice and not too cold.
Maddy's birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year! I didn't realize that until a few weeks ago! I think that's really neat. So we'll have Turkey and a birthday cake. That will be interesting! I wonder what she'll do with her cake. She doesn't like sweets that much, so we'll have to see.
